In recognition of LGBT Health Awareness Week (March 22 - 26), Valley is promoting continuing education for our providers, including online CME videos about transgender hormone therapy and a panel discussion with some of our providers and the LGBTQ Advisory Committee.
If you are a primary care provider who wants to expand their scope of practice to include prescribing hormone therapy for their transgender patients, you are invited to attend a panel discussion: March 24 at 12 PM (via Zoom)
Theresa Tran, MD, endocrinologist, will reflect on the information covered in some CME videos and answer your questions gender-affirming hormone therapy. In addition, Jon Hutter, MD, plastic & reconstructive surgeon, will give an overview of some surgical options offered by his practice.
To be prepared for the panel discussion, please watch these two videos in advance. Be sure to follow the log-in instructions below to access the webinars and so that Valley gets credit from HEI.
