On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.
New Policy: Transgender and Gender Diverse Patient Care
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that transgender and gender diverse patients receive the same standard of respect, care and non-discriminatory treatment as any other patients. This policy describes the respective issues and provides guidelines specific to the safe and courteous care of transgender and gender diverse patients.
