What is Neurointervention?
Minimally invasive, catheter-based, treatment of vascular disease of the brain or spinal cord. Other terms often used are neuro-endovascular surgery, endovascular neurosurgery, and interventional neurology, interventional neuroradiology.
What disease are treated?
- Ischemic stroke
- Acute ischemic stroke
- Carotid artery disease
- Vertebral artery disease
- Cerebral venous thrombosis/stenosis
- Hemorrhagic disease
- Cerebral aneurysms
- Arteriovenous malformations (AVM)
- Arteriovenous fistula (AVF)
- Other causes of brain hemorrhage
- Epistaxis
- Spinal vascular diseases
- Venous stenosis, Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), tinnitus, brain tumors

- Referrals for any vascular condition affecting the brain, neck, or spine.

- We have a monthly Neuroendovascular conference, all are welcome
