On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.

COVID-19 Re-Testing No Longer Required for Discontinuation of Transmission-Based Precautions (TBP)​

In August, the CDC changed recommendations from re-testing to discontinue transmission-based precautions (TBP) to a time and symptom-based strategy effective October 29. Based on emerging data, we are now aligning our workflows based on this new evidence. The management teams are working on operationalizing workflows and will be moving forward with implementing in the coming weeks.
