The Desimone Levee on the Green River failed and is under repair. The hospital is above the flood zone and currently in no danger of flooding. We evacuated our Time Square and Kent Station Clinics and our Lind Avenue locations. Several locations are experiencing staffing issues due to severe traffic impacts. Impacted patients are being contacted to reschedule appointments. Please be safe, do not drive or walk through standing water, and call 9-1-1 if you need emergency evacuation assistance.

Antiseizure Medications Table, 2020 Update

10/4/2020
Author: David G. Vossler, MD FAAN FACNS FAES

Here is the Antiseizure Medications Tables 2nd Edition published by the American Epilepsy Society in September 2020. This revised edition summarizes in table form the more than 30 antiseizure medications (ASMs) approved for use in the USA. ASMs are used not only to treat epileptic seizures, but also in the treatment of neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, bipolar disorder and migraine prevention. These tables place an emphasis on the adverse effects and drug-drug interactions of ASMs so that healthcare providers can choose carefully.
