Long Nguyen, DO, Kent Station Primary Care

Congratulations to Long Nguyen, DO, at Kent Station Primary Care, and the July Provider of the Month. Many of his co-workers say that he is very caring, giving, kind and a fun individual to work with. He supports clinic staff wherever help is needed, and always does it with a smile. Dr. Long is loved by everyone, including his patients, who consistently send in kudos for how amazing he is. As one of his nominators writes, “Dr. Long is hands down one of the best providers here at Valley! Ron Cohen, MD, Psychiatry and Counseling Clinic

Congratulations to Ron Cohen, MD, Medical Director of the Psychiatry and Counseling Clinic and our August Provider of the Month. Dedicating numerous hours to researching, learning, networking, and devising plans to promote provider wellness at VMC, Dr. Cohen has worked for Valley for 20+ years and is known as an awesome role model. During the pandemic, Dr. Cohen worked diligently to make sure PCC quickly pivoted to providing telehealth services so we could continue to provide care to our patients in the community. He prioritized efforts for the PCC to provide emotional support to VMC employees, many of whom were on the front lines, coping with the stress and complexity of caring for patients with COVID-19. As Dr. Cohen's nominator writes, "Ron is so awesome in all that he does and he is so deserving of this award." Thanks again for all that you do, Dr. Cohen.
