On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.
Rheumatology Access at Covington Temporarily Limited
The Rheumatology clinic at Covington North will not be seeing new patients, February-May, while one of the providers is on temporary leave. The Renton clinic will still be accepting new patients, to be scheduled with Caner Sakin, MD and Laura Grantham, PA-C.
During this time, if the Covington North clinic receives any referrals, they will inform the referring provider’s office via phone, fax, or staff message that they have the option of referring patients to the Renton clinic. Starting May 1, the Covington North clinic anticipates accepting new patients again.
