Do you have an interest in LGBTQ+ Care? Update your web profile to help patients know

We know all Valley providers and staff are committed to offering health services to patients on an equal basis, providing responsive, compassionate and respectful care in a welcoming environment. We are looking for Valley caregivers who actively demonstrate their support for the health and wellness of people in the LGBTQ+ communities by indicating a special interest in serving their special needs and concerns.

If you’re interested, please write to provider_outreach@valleymed.org and we will update your website profile. To help make the Find-A-Doc search easier and specific to patients’ needs, please specify your particular areas of interest/expertise that align with LGBTQ+ care. These bullet points will then be added to your profile, under your bio.

• Interest in LGBTQ+ health
• Prescribes pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)
• HIV treatment
• Transgender hormone therapy

Now would also be a good time to review your bio to update it, as appropriate, to add other areas of expertise and/or personal details. It’s up to you if you want to add verbiage about your LGBTQ+ care since it will already be listed in the bullet points. You can find it by searching Find-A-Doc for your last name.
