Senior Health Fair Community Education Presenters

Ms. Grantham and Dr. Harris each gave a presentation at the Senior Health Fair on Sep. 6, 2019 at Carco Theater in Renton. Valley has hosted this event annually for 30 years to promote our services and offer health/wellness education to older adults in our community. It’s highly anticipated and attracts more than 800 attendees.

Facebook Live Video

Dr. Kim did a live stream video on the Valley Medical Center Facebook page to educate community members about vaping. Recent CDC advisories about vaping and patient mortalities associated with vaping have raised concerns, and Facebook Live videos are a timely way to connect with our community as well as to feature our knowledgeable specialty providers. As of the publication of this article over 2,700 people have viewed this video

Ahead of the Care Award Nominee

Dr. Busch was one of the nominees for the Provider category for the second annual Ahead of the Care awards hosted by the Renton Chamber of Commerce. The Ahead of the Care award is a partnership between the Renton Chamber of Commerce and Renton's healthcare leaders. It is part of the Chamber's effort to highlight business sectors and individuals that make Renton a better community. The program's aim is to enhance awareness of the excellence of those who provide healthcare to our community.
