Valley Medical Center partners with Vantage Radiology to offer a wide variety of imaging services at four locations on the Valley Medical Center campus:

  • The Breast Center
  • Hospital Imaging Services
  • Valley Diagnostic Imaging Services—MAC Building
  • Valley Diagnostic Imaging Services—Olympic Building

All facilities are staffed with highly qualified, board-certified radiologists and technologists using state-of-the-art imaging equipment.

 The Breast Center

At The Breast Center, our medical specialists are among the best in the region. All are experienced and focus extensively on breast health. As partners in keeping you healthy, they're here to guide you with knowledge and sensitivity.

For further peace of mind, we offer patients the best diagnostic technology, including the R2 ImageChecker®, which provides a reassuring second opinion of your mammogram. Our extensive screening services also include ultrasound and low-dose mammography. Should you need care beyond routine screening, we have comprehensive services and collaborative, caring practitioners to support you every step of the way.

The Breast Center also provides the DexaScan bone density test. Learn more about DexaScan and how to reduce the risk of osteoporosis.

Hospital Imaging Services

Valley Medical Center's Hospital Imaging Services is staffed with highly qualified, board-certified radiologists and registered technologists utilizing the most advanced imaging equipment. Imaging reports and films are available to your healthcare provider within 48 hours.

Valley Diagnostic Imaging Services—Medical Arts Center Outpatient

VDIS—Medical Arts Center Outpatient offers a wide variety of imaging services, including plain radiographic examinations, digital fluoroscopy, helical computed tomography (CT) and ultrasound. These examinations are performed on state-of-the-art equipment. This level of technology allows for more efficient acquisition of images and greater accuracy in interpretation.

Vantage Radiologists serves over 100 patients a day at Valley Diagnostic Imaging Services—Medical Arts Center Outpatient. All studies are performed and interpreted by registered radiologic technologists and board-certified radiologists in a comfortable and caring atmosphere. Imaging reports and films are available to your healthcare provider within 24 hours.

Valley Diagnostic Imaging Services—Olympic Building

VDIS—Olympic Building is a state-of-the-art imaging facility accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The ACR awards accreditation to a practice only after it demonstrates excellence in personnel, equipment performance, quality control and quality of clinical images.

All the technologists have advanced training in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT), which enables them to perform not only routine examinations but also highly tailored, comprehensive examinations that match the patient's signs and symptoms. Olympic Building is equipped with two 1.5 Tesla Siemens MRI scanners, an Open MRI, a Siemens Trio MRI for brain imaging, a 64 Channel GE CT and a Discovery PET/CT. It is our goal not only to provide patients with the best in imaging, but also to make their scanning experience as comfortable and efficient as possible.

VDIS—Olympic Building is conveniently located on the Valley Medical Center campus. There is ample parking available for patients directly outside the front door, with trouble-free handicap access. The hours of operation are convenient to patients and their families: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 9 PM; Saturdays, 8 AM to 5 PM; and Sundays as needed.
