Commonly referred to as ear, nose and throat (ENT) doctors, our otolaryngologists* are specially trained to diagnose and medically and surgically treat disorders of the ear, nose, throat and related structures of the head and neck in both children and adults.

At Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic we offer a variety of highly specialized procedures using the latest medical technology and treatment. Our expertise includes:

    Dr. Lee graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado in Denver. Next, he completed a surgery internship followed by an otolaryngology residency at Albany Medical College, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Lee then practiced in North Dakota and served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery with the University of North Dakota. After that, he practiced in California with privileges at Stanford, prior to joining Valley Medical Center.

    Other Interests

    Dr. Lee enjoys taking care of adult and pediatric patients with a wide variety of ENT conditions. He is particularly interested in the airway, which includes sinonasal, oropharyngeal, and laryngeal disorders, plus thyroid and parathyroid surgery. Dr. Lee has also been the principal investigator in numerous research protocols, including the evaluation of tools for minimally-invasive sinus surgery, novel surgical approaches to the airway, and preoperative assessment of the airway.

    Dr. Lee enjoys traveling and playing outdoors with his wife, young child, and small dog.

    Biography

    Dr. Bryan Serkin completed his bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science at Texas A and M before moving to Houston for his medical training. He was awarded his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1997, and then completed his Otolaryngology residency at the Unviersity of South Florida in 2002. He then spent seven years in practice in Dallas, Texas where he served as a clinical instructor at a major tertiary referral hospital.

    Dr. Serkin enjoys working with both pediatric and adult patients. Although he enjoys all areas of ENT, he has particular interests in chronic sinusitis, head and neck and thyroid surgery, sleep apnea and snoring, and pediatric ENT.

    Dr. Serkin enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two children.

    Biography

    Chantel Turner received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine in 1990 and obtained her Physician Assistant training from Charles R. Drew University in June 1993. She obtained her Master of Science Degree in Advanced Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Stills University of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013.

    Prior to joining UW Medicine Valley Medical Center, she was a practicing physician assistant at Harborview Medical Center's ENT department.

    Other Interests

    Chantel enjoys seeing a variety of patients including children and underserved populations. In her spare time, she enjoys running, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and two children.
