Recognition

We value our employees with competitive pay and great benefits. We also recognize them daily with informal cards and personal accolades. Our “ACE” program encourages team members to give positive feedback to each other for a job well done.

We honor special team members through our Employee of the Month program, which is driven by peer input. In addition, we nominate Champions as an organization and recognize these individuals for taking the extra step to serve our community.

Our annual Service Awards Luncheon celebrates team members who have been part of the Valley Medical Center family for more than five years. In 2008, we were pleased to recognize two employees who have each been with us for 38 years.

We take every opportunity to come together and enhance our family environment. This includes an annual summer gathering at Wild Waves Theme Park, where employees and their families share a day of fun in the sun. The Holiday Gala, our formal event, takes place in December. During Valley Team Month, each week brings different team-building activities, events, treats and surprises.

The annual FACTS program encourages employees to learn about their place of work and rewards their efforts with a gift certificate. This popular and innovative program has won several awards.
